Vision Diesel Performance Dyno Day

Vision Diesel Performance Dyno Day

Vision Diesel Performance is located in Aurora, Oregon, and August 1st, was their second annual dyno day and was an official part of the Northwest Dyno Circuit. Vision Diesel Performance is a full service diesel shop and active part of the diesel community in the Northern Oregon and Southern Washington.

On Vision Diesel Performance Dyno Day roughly 200 trucks were in attendance. Of those 200, roughly 40 were dynoed, with numerous trucks posting impressive horsepower. The NWDC has a reputation of attracting the highest horsepower diesels in the nation, and this event brought out the highest performing trucks in the area to compete. Including, Dan Howard DPC 2014 Competitor was there to compete and posted impressive horsepower.

Also at the event were several vendors, including BD Diesel, One Up Offroad, Riffraff Diesel, EDGE Products, and Siskiyou Diesel. Riffraff brought along several of their race trucks to Vision Diesel Performance Dyno Day as well. Raffles were also held at the event.

“The event went well, and everything was really smooth,” said Derek Hamill, Co-owner of Vision Diesel Performance. “We dynoed more than 40 trucks from 8 in the morning to 6 at night. It was a great experience working with the NWDC. We will definitely host a third annual dyno day next year with the NWDC.”

Co-owners Derek Hamill and Curtis Ellyes founded Vision Diesel Performance LLC on a belief that customer service would come before all else. Vision Diesel may be looked at as one of the industry's fastest growing Ford Powerstrokes shops around the area, but it is much more than that.  Repairs and modifications to all Cummins and Duramax powered vehicles take place here as well.  From general maintenance and repairs to full motor and transmission rebuilds, it all happens under one roof.

VDP is also very involved in local and industry related events, as they believe in promoting diesel sports while contributing and giving back to the community. VDP has been a part of the St. Paul Rodeo, the Clackamas County Fair, and is involved with the JakeSake Foundation.
